Why Families Choose Thrive’s Private Teacher Placements?
Parent of 11th-Grader

Every product I have purchased is thoughtful and perfect. Love this shop and the way the products make having a medical condition seem “normal” to a child.

When we started with our Thrive tutor lastAugust, our son was earning Cs or less across the board. He ended this past school year with almost all As and one B. The best part though is his newly found confidence and desire to do well in school.

My daughter is 8 years old, and she has struggled with reading since I can remember. We started with Thrive Tutoring about six months ago when the school told us she was behind. Since then, we have seen a vast improvement. She is starting 3rd grade on grade level or ahead. Even bedtime story reading was like pulling teeth, but now she asks us to read every night. We’ve seen a night and day difference in her.

Math has been a endless struggle for my son. For years, it just didn’t click for him, and he had gotten quite far behind. I wished I had reached out sooner to get help. Our tutor has been game changing for him. He is doing well in math for the first time, and he actually enjoys it. Our tutor has also made math homework and studying for tests much less stressful than it used to be.

Common questions families ask?
What qualifications do your tutors have?
Most of our tutors have at least a Master’s Degree in teaching/education or in their specific content field, and most of our tutors have been teaching for 5 years or more.
Is this online or in-person?
All of our tutoring is in-person. We come to you whether that’s your home, your child’s school, or a nearby library. It’s face-to-face, consistent, and personal.
How long before we see results?
Many families notice a difference like reduced stress or improved focus within a few sessions. Academic gains can vary, but we aim for steady, lasting progress that builds week by week.
What if the tutor isn’t the right fit?
We check in regularly to make sure things feel right. If they don’t, we’ll make a change quickly and thoughtfully. No awkwardness, no hassle, just the right match.
Can you help with my school’s curriculum?
Absolutely. Our tutors are familiar with both public and private school expectations, and tailor sessions to align with your child’s current coursework and classroom goals.
How flexible is scheduling?
Very. We work around your family’s schedule mornings, evenings, weekends, even travel days. There are no contracts or minimums, just the support you need, when you need it.
