Driving Real Results

Our Approach

1
We take the guesswork out of finding the perfect tutor.
The research is clear: the number one determinant of a child’s success is the teacher leading the way. Don’t worry about reading through endless tutor profiles online or getting stuck with whoever happens to be available at your local chain learning center—we will find the right expert to help your child thrive.
2
Our work is rooted in strong relationships.

Building strong bonds is central to who we are. You will feel our relationship-first core value from your first call with us through your experience working with your child’s tutor.  We demonstrate our commitment to relationships daily in the genuine care and attention we show to our students and their families.

3
When learning is personalized, students will thrive.

Academic growth doesn’t happen by accident. It is the result of intentional planning for lessons that are designed for each student’s learning needs and learning style. We do not use a cookie-cutter curriculum. We design lessons and adjust our teaching methods to the academic needs and interests of each student.

4
We care about the whole child.

Academics and life skills go hand in hand, which is why we approach learning from the whole-child perspective by incorporating executive functioning skills and social-emotional skills within our lessons.

That’s why Thrive tutors meet students where they are, using a personalized approach to build confidence and drive results. What Parents Are Saying

We take our responsibility to our families seriously and are consistently driving toward strong outcomes for all of our students.

Working with three different tutors all with different styles to meet the needs of our kids has been a blessing. They have changed our families lives for the better. Our sons have gained self esteem, self confidence and their grades have greatly improved. It has helped us as parents to understand how they learn and what their needs are in a new way. Their employees go above and beyond on a regular basis caring for our children which has been invaluable for our family.

Parent of three students

When we started with our Thrive tutor last August, our son was earning Cs or less across the board. He ended this past school year with almost all As and one B. The best part though is his newly found confidence and desire to do well in school.

Parent of eleventh-grader

My daughter is 8 years old, and she has struggled with reading since I can remember. We started with Thrive Tutoring about six months ago when the school told us she was behind. Since then, we have seen a vast improvement. She is starting 3rd grade on grade level or ahead. Even bedtime story reading was like pulling teeth, but now she asks us to read every night. We’ve seen a night and day difference in her.

Parent of third-grader

Math has been a endless struggle for my son. For years, it just didn’t click for him, and he had gotten quite far behind. I wished I had reached out sooner to get help. Our tutor has been game changing for him. He is doing well in math for the first time, and he actually enjoys it. Our tutor has also made math homework and studying for tests much less stressful than it used to be.

Parent of eighth-grader

My child is in the gifted and talented program, and she still isn’t quite challenged enough at school. We needed a tutor who could get creative with her to provide enrichment that takes her skills to the next level, especially in math and writing. We finally found that in our Thrive tutor. Our daughter looks forward to each session because they are fun and engaging. We are thoroughly pleased.

Parent of third-grader

I’ve had a hard time finding a tutoring company that can truly help us with executive functioning. My son has had a hard time staying on top of his assignments, planning ahead, and following through. We needed someone who could teach him how to develop a weekly plan, manage his time, create study plans, stay organized, etc. We found that here with our Thrive tutor and couldn’t be happier. Best decision for our son.

Parent of ninth-grader

The best, the best, the best!! I don’t know how you found this tutor, but she is the perfect match for our children and is the full package for what they need to learn and grow. She is a keeper!

Parent of first-grader

Thank you Thrive team for helping my child excel. She is a good writer, but in order to get into her top colleges, she has to be a great writer. The improvements we have seen are extraordinary.

Parent of an eleventh-grader

My daughter has significant learning challenges, but since she started working with her Thrive tutor, she is FINALLY learning. And, for the first time, she actually feels confident and excited to learn. She truly looks forward to her sessions.

Parent of a first-grader

My son was really struggling with Algebra and in just half a semester working with Thrive, his grade increased over ten points. Thank you for helping him be successful and confident.
